Angel Tree
Since 2001, in conjunction with the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree, S.O.A.R. has partnered with various organizations around the Oklahoma City metropolitan area to ensure that children of the incarcerated have a happy holiday and know that they are loved. Every year since the inception, S.O.A.R. has been a catalyst for the Angel Tree program.
ANGEL TREE 2025
We have our list of children from the Angel Tree Prison Fellowship Program. For those of you unfamiliar with Angel Tree it is a program that was founded in 1982 and has been helping children of the incarcerated for over 30 years. Every child has a story. For 2.7 million American children, that story is filled with the abandonment, loneliness and shame that comes from having a mom or dad in prison. For many, it may also include following their parents down the same destructive road to incarceration.
Through this unique program in conjunction with Hillwood Missionary Baptist Church, S.O.A.R. gives you an opportunity to share love by helping to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners.
The S.O.A.R. committee has 89 children that need adoption.
Please see the below link of the Angels/Children in need of adoption. To see what is being requested, click on name, then age and it will show the list of sizes, needs, and wants. If nothing is specified in the needs and wants area that child is not ready for adoption.
Once you select a tag, click on the RED TAKE TAG button in the right-hand corner. You will then be directed to input your name, email and phone number. Click on it and you have adopted that angel. Once you have adopted it, you will be responsible for that child. You will get an email with all their information.
We will be hosting a party/give-a-way for the children with Santa on December 21, 2025 at 1pm. All gifts are due back by 12/14/2025, 2-4pm. If you can’t shop, just adopt, and we will shop for you!
All donations are welcomed.
